Macca's Just Dropped Limited Edition Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! Figurines

And he’s sparkly.

Macca’s have yet again dropped a new and exciting instalment to their 50th anniversary celebrations, and this time we’re celebrating the man himself: Ronald McDonald.

Previously, we’ve watched Macca’s give away burgers for dirt cheap, re-familiarise us with their Grand Mac, Mac Jr, and custard pie, as well as bless us with the introduction of their birthday cake (more like fairy bread) McFlurry, and their wicked collab with Peter Alexander on some groovy PJs.

Now, they’re giving fans the opportunity to take home their very own glittery Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! Figurine.

This is fully taking me back to my childhood days when you would get a toy with your Happy Meal, only this time it’s grown-up approved.

As of today, you can pick up your own adorable looking, limited-edition, mini-Ronald from all Macca’s nationwide. This is probs the one time a clown looks cute instead of scary, so I’m on board.

The collector’s item will set you back $20—which is pretty standard for a Funko Pop! Figurine—but all the proceeds will go straight to Ronald McDonald House Charities so you can know your fun purchase is making a difference to someone.

In case you don’t know, Ronald McDonald House Charities is an independent non-profit organisation with a mission to create, find and support the needs of seriously ill children and their families. This includes Ronald McDonald houses, rooms, family retreats, and learning programs.

“We are so excited to be teaming up with iconic collectibles brand, Funko, to introduce an exclusive, limited-edition Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! to raise much-needed funds for RMHC,” Marketing Director of McDonald’s Australia Amanda Nakad said in a statement.

“All profits from the sale of our unique Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! will help RMHC continue to care for seriously ill and injured children and their families across Australia.

“We know Aussies love their Macca’s limited-edition collectibles, so we look forward to introducing the Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! to give customers another way to celebrate and remember our 50th anniversary in Australia.”

In this version of himself, Ronald is covered head to toe in coloured glitter, sporting his usual red, white and yellow suit, bright red shoes and slicked back hair. The box also features the sticker ‘Diamond Collection’ which we can probably assume is the explanation for all the charming glitter.

The best thing about this new figurine (aside from how kawaii it is) is that you can pick it up through Macca’s Drive Thru, so you don’t even have to leave your car for a feed and a figurine.

Sales of the figurine are only until stocks last, so if you don’t wanna miss out, get to your local Macca’s ASAP.
