HEAT SET FOR CHALLENGER | Wildermuth Added To Squad
The Brisbane Heat has added allrounder Jack Wildermuth to its squad for tomorrow night's Challenger Final against the Adelaide Strikers at Carrara Stadium on the Gold Coast.
Wildermuth replaces fellow allrounder Jack Wood in the squad, and if included in the starting team, would play his first match of BBL|13.
The Heat must win the Challenger to progress to Wednesday's Final against the Sydney Sixers at the SCG after losing to their NSW rivals at Carrara on Friday night.
Test squad player Matthew Renshaw has been cleared to take his place in the Heat squad before linking up with the rest of the Australian squad on Tuesday in Brisbane to prepare for the day/night Gabba Test against the West Indies starting on Thursday.
Brisbane, which claimed top spot as minor premiers after the regular season, is chasing its second Final berth in as many seasons after finishing as runners-up last summer.
Tomorrow's match starts at 6.40pm Queensland time and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and FOX, and streamed on Kayo. It will be covered on radio on SENQ.
Tickets are on sale now for the Challenger Final through Ticketek.
