With many leagues around the world returning after their winter break, more Subway Socceroos abroad will be involved this weekend as the second half of the season gets into full swing. 

Here is a look at what is to come:

Subway Socceroos

Craig Goodwin (cap #562) opened the scoring for Al-Wehda as they beat Al Fateh 2-1 on Friday morning in their return to Saudi Pro League action. Goodwin now has four goals and three assists this season.

It is a big week in the English FA Cup, which started last night as Alex Robertson (cap #630) was subbed on in the 63rd minute of Cardiff City's 1-0 win over Sheffield United.

Cameron Burgess (cap #633) could earn a start for Ipswich Town in their tie against Bristol Rovers on Monday at 2:00 am (AEDT).

Also in the FA Cup, Joe Gauci (cap #631) might be involved for Aston Villa against West Ham United on Saturday at 7:00 am (AEDT).

Further, Samuel Silvera (cap #634) could earn some minutes for Portsmouth as they travel to Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday at 6:45 am (AEDT).

Riley McGree (cap #609) and Tom Glover is a chance to start for Middlesbrough when they face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday at 11:00 pm (AEDT).

Keanu Baccus (cap #628) is expected to be in action for Mansfield Town against Wigan Athletic on Sunday at 5:00 am (AEDT). 

At the same time, Callum Elder (cap #614) could play for Derby County against Leyton Orient.

In the Scottish Premiership, Martin Boyle (cap #599) and Lewis Miller (cap #635) are likely to start against Apostolos Stamatelopoulos’ (cap #644) Motherwell on Sunday at 2:00 am (AEDT).

Elsewhere in the competition, Cameron Devlin's (cap #625) Hearts travel to Aberdeen on Monday at 2:00 am (AEDT).

Ryan Strain (cap #624) should feature against his former side, St Mirren, on Sunday at 2:00 am (AEDT).

Finally, Josh Nisbet (cap #642) is set to start for Ross County when they host Celtic on Saturday at 11:30 pm (AEDT).

Ryan McGowan (cap #546) might get a start for Livingston when they host Airdrieonians on Sunday at 2:00 am (AEDT) in the Scottish Championship.

In EFL League One, Gethin Jones (cap #639) could start for Bolton Wanderers when they travel to Rotherham United on Saturday at 11:30 pm (AEDT).

In Ligue 1, Denis Genreau (cap #610) could feature again for Toulouse as they host Strasbourg on Monday at 3:15 am (AEDT).

The Bundesliga returns this weekend, so Jackson Irvine (cap #568) will likely start for St. Pauli as they face Frankfurt on Sunday at 1:30 am (AEDT). Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) may return from injury for the team as well.

The Belgium First Division A is also back in action this weekend, and Jordan Bos (cap #632) will hope to build on his good form when Westerlo host St. Truiden on Sunday at 2:00 am (AEDT).

Elsewhere in Belgium’s top flight, Aiden O’Neill (cap #629) is set to start for Standard Liege in their home match against Kortrijk on Saturday at 6:45 am (AEDT).

Maty Ryan (cap #555) might be on the bench for Roma in their Serie A clash against Bologna on Monday at 4:00 am (AEDT).

In Serie B, Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) may start for Salernitana when they host Sassuolo on Sunday at 10:30 pm (AEDT). 

Jason Davidson (cap #545) should start for Panserraikos in the Greek Super League against Panathinaikos on Monday at 1:30 am (AEDT), who are currently second in the competition.

In the Indian Super League, Jason Cummings (cap #626), Jamie Maclaren (cap #584), and Dimitri Petratos (cap #593) could all feature for Mohun Bagan SG when they host East Bengal on Sunday at 1:00 am (AEDT).

In transfer news, striker John Iredale (cap #640) has moved from Danish side AaB to Seoul E-Land in the second division of South Korea.
