Kylie Minogue Tension Tour Noranda girl Savannah Ceric
It was the 10-year-old’s first Kylie concert.

A young Perth girl who was hand-picked out of the audience by Kylie Minogue and asked to come up on stage has opened up about the “amazing” moment.

Savannah Ceric was excited to be going to her first Kylie concert on Saturday night, but little did she know, she would meet the Princess of Pop, onstage, in front of a 15,000-strong crowd.

The 10-year-old girl from Noranda was with her family at RAC Arena for Kylie’s first show of her Tension Tour when the incredible moment unfolded.

As Kylie performed her song Where the Wild Roses Grow, the 56-year-old icon picked Savannah out of the audience to gift her a white rose.

After asking her name and telling the excited youngster that she was “lost in her eyes”, Kylie told security to get Savannah onstage for a hug.

Savannah told PerthNow she was feeling all kinds of emotions during that moment.

“I was excited, but also felt a bit surprised,” she said.

Her mum, Nicole Ceric, said she couldn’t quite believe what she was witnessing.

“I was just amazed, it was amazing. I was in tears because I was so happy for her,” she said.

“I was like ‘Oh my god, that’s my daughter’.”

The Ceric family have plans to dry out the rose from Kylie and frame it with a photo of the special moment.

Savannah said she loved Kylie for her “singing and dancing” with her favourite song being Padam Padam because “I dance to it all the time”.

Next time the young fan hears that song, it is sure to feel extra special knowing she has met, hugged and recieved a kiss from the global superstar.

Kylie posted a picture of the moment to her Instagram story.

And it seems the experience has made Savannah a somewhat local celebrity.

“She’ll talk about it at school for a while and we had people (from the concert) calling out her name afterwards when we were leaving,” Ms Ceric said.

“If this ever gets back to Kylie, just want to say thanks so much. It has made her day.”
