Queenslander And West Australian Share Oz Lotto's $50 Million Jackpot | The Lott

A Queenslander and a West Australian have become Australia’s newest multi-millionaires after sharing tonight’s $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot.

However, the winning pair may have yet to discover their life-changing news.

There were two division one winning entries nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1458, drawn Tuesday 25 January 2022. Each division one winning entry takes home a $25 million slice of the jackpot.

The winning Queenslander purchased their entry online at thelott.com.  Lotterywest will be liaising with the West Australian winner.

Although the Queensland division one winning entry was registered to an online account, officials from The Lott were unable to make contact with the winner tonight to deliver the life-changing news.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said repeated attempts to phone the new multi-millionaire tonight had failed.

“I was ready to confirm Oz Lotto’s newest division one winner straight after the results of tonight’s draw were known, but sadly whenever I called the number provided, it just rang out and went straight to message bank,” he said.

“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the winner we’re trying to contact.

“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an online entry into this week’s Oz Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all Oz Lotto players to check their entries as soon as possible. If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

In addition to the two division one winning entries, there were another 892,135 wins across divisions two to seven in tonight’s draw that collected more than $18.8 million in prizes.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1458 on Tuesday 25 January 2022 were 17, 31, 22, 11, 26, 36 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 16 and 6.

Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Oz Lotto draw 1458 – one each from Queensland and Western Australia.
