Google's 'Delete last 15 min' feature starts rolling out for Android devices

Google recently added the ability to delete the last 15 minutes of search history on an iOS app. It now appears that the search engine giant is finally extending the feature to the Google app on Android. The feature has been spotted by The Verge. Google first announced the feature at last year’s Google I/O in May. It arrived on the iOS version of Google app in July and the company said that it will come to Android app by the end of 2021. However, the company apparently missed the deadline and the feature has now started rolling out. It is still unclear whether the company will extend the similar feature to the web version or not as the company announced the feature for Android and iOS apps only. How the ‘delete last 15 minutes search history’ feature works As the name implies, the ‘delete last 15 minutes search history’ feature deletes the search history of the last 15 minutes. The remaining search record remains, unless the user has deleted it manually or has set it up to automatic delete after a set interval. How to use this feature on Android, iPhone and iPad * Open Google app on your device * Tap on your profile icon at the top right corner * Tap on ‘Delete last 15 minutes’
