Artificial intelligence predicts Earth’s peak warming

Recent research indicates that the ambitious global target of limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels is likely unattainable. The findings suggest that the hottest years in our future will probably break all existing heat records. There is a 50% chance that global temperatures will exceed 2 degrees Celsius, even if we successfully achieve current goals of drastically reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by the 2050s.
