The PA32KCX is an ultra-high-end monitor for creative work.

The monitor is designed for the cutting edge of XR (Extended Reality) and virtual production. It allows creators to work with high-resolution content, including 8K resolution. This is also one of the first 32-inch 8K (7680×4320) monitors featuring DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity standard.

The ProArt PA32KCX uses a Mini-LED panel with 97% cinema-grade DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a ΔE value less than one, making it a perfect solution for image and video editing. The Mini-LED panel has 4096 backlight zones and supports HDR thanks to its 1000 nits brightness in full-screen mode and up to 1200 nits peak brightness.

Located on the bottom bezel is a motorized flip colorimeter, simplifying color calibration for users. Whether opting for automatic or manual calibration, maintaining color accuracy is easy to do. Additionally, ASUS touts the inclusion of “LuxPixel” technology, encompassing anti-glare, low reflection, and eye care features for enhanced user comfort.

The monitor offers DisplayPort 2.1 support, although the bandwidth is unspecified, along with HDMI 2.1 compatibility. Moreover, it features a dual Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C connection, capable of delivering up to 96W of power.

ASUS did not announce pricing or release date for this monitor; however, similar monitors are typically not cheaper than $3000 at launch. The predecessor called PA32UCXR, which was a 32-inch 4K monitor, currently costs $2700.

Update: According to Vincent Teoh the monitor is said to cost upwards $8,000.
