Stuttard joins the energy company from Australia Post, where he spent four and a half years as its CISO and 11 years in total.

Before joining Australia Post, Stuttard spent almost 16 years at Tabcorp, working in a variety of senior technology roles.

He replaces Catherine Buhler, who left Energy Australia in December after almost five years.

“We are pleased to welcome Glenn Stuttard as our chief information security officer,” an EnergyAustralia spokesperson said.

According to the spokesperson, Stuttard will now report to EnergyAustralia chief information officer Julie Bale.
