Urgent Bali tourist alert for Nipah bat virus with 75 per cent fatality rate
All tourists travelling to Bali will be screened for a deadly bat virus, as health authorities scramble to respond to a spike in cases overseas.
The Nipah virus has a 75 per cent fatality rate and is transmitted through contact with the bodily fluids of infected bats and pigs. Tourists are urged to take precautions and seek medical attention if they experience any symptoms such as fever, headache, dizziness, and muscle pain.
