'We are the hungriest team'
Edin Terzic said on Tuesday that they believe in their chances in the Champions League semi-finals against PSG, who they will host in the first leg at Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday.
"We have to do everything we can to win. We believe in our chances. We may be the least experienced team, but we are the hungriest team. We have to work hard every day to get to Wembley," the Borussia Dortmund coach told a news conference.
Terzic stated that they will try to take advantage of home advantage in the first leg to win the match and go to Paris with an advantage. "That's the mission. We know we have to play at the highest level for at least 180 minutes," said the coach, who praised the "extraordinary quality" of PSG, whose "project has been to build a team to win the Champions League".
The two teams met in the group stage. PSG won at the Parc des Princes, 2-0, and at Signal Iduna Park the match ended in a goalless draw.
"We were not happy with the first game. We only had two good chances to score, but they were too few. The second was a different story. We came close to winning. We know that PSG are in top form at the moment and we have to improve our performance in the second leg. But we are confident we can do it," said the Borussia Dortmund coach.
As for the fitness of his squad Terzic took it "for granted" that Donyell Malen, Marcel Sabitzer and Sebastien Haller will be available after missing the last few games through injury.
