Enzo Maresca has confirmed Noni Madueke suffered a hamstring injury tonight and is facing a spell on the sidelines.

Madueke was substituted in the 21st minute, shortly after making a long run down the right flank and crossing to Cole Palmer in the area. He had dropped to the ground and was treated on the pitch before being replaced.

When we asked him to clarify the situation, Maresca replied:

???? “Noni unfortunately has a hamstring problem and will be out for a while.”

Chelsea already have Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Nicolas Jackson, Benoit Badiashile and Marc Guiu unavailable for selection due to injury.

Maresca did say full-back Malo Gusto is fine despite coming off in the second half, when he appeared to be feeling pain in his left hip.
