Australia's David Micheluzzi birdied the last two holes to hold a one-shot lead heading into the final round of the Porsche Singapore Classic.

Micheluzzi carded a third round of 66 at Laguna National to reach 13 under par, with English duo Sam Bairstow and Andy Sullivan his nearest challengers following rounds of 68 and 69 respectively.

India's Shubhankar Sharma bogeyed the 18th to lie two shots off the pace on 11 under, with former Ryder Cup player Paul Casey and Scotland's Ewen Ferguson part of a four-strong group on 10 under.

Micheluzzi, who is seeking his first DP World Tour title, said: "Today was very hot, you could see me with a towel over my head. At literally every water station, we just put it straight in and just kept myself cool.

"The first eight holes I didn't play so great and then the last 10 I really got dialled in and holed some putts which was nice."

Halfway co-leader Sullivan made a superb start with four birdies in his first eight holes, but double-bogeyed the ninth and 10th and dropped another shot on the 11th before recovering to make four birdies in the last seven holes.

"It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions, I went through everything today," Sullivan said. "It was colourful in every sense of the word.

"Recently when it has been going wrong I've tended to let it get to me a little bit so I'm proud of myself today for coming back in and putting up a fight. I feel like my game is getting back and my confidence has grown with it."

Former Open champion Shane Lowry gave himself an outside chance of victory thanks to a third round of 66 which left him within five of the lead on eight under.

"It was nice," Lowry said. "I played really good today, the longest putt I holed was about six or seven feet.

"Obviously it could have been better, but I've put myself back up near the top of the leaderboard. Just hope I can go out and maybe shoot a low front nine tomorrow and give myself a bit of a chance."
