Jay-Z layered up in several layers of warm clothing while leaving The Bird Street Club in West Hollywood on Thursday evening.

The 54-year-old rapper was accompanied by both Lil Uzi Vert and Kris Jenner's boyfriend Corey Gamble as he made his way out of the lounge and headed out into the city's streets.

The performer - who recently commemorated his eldest child's birthday - wore a black-and-purple puffy jacket on top of a v-neck sweater and bright white t-shirt as he left the club.

Jay-Z, born Shawn Corey Carter, also wore a pair of dual-tone track pants and white sneakers, and he completed his look with a beanie.

Lil Uzi Vert, 28, opted for a slim-fitting t-shirt, a fur-lined jacket and oversized black pants during his night out.

The Ps & Qs, born Symere Bysil Woods, finished his look for the evening with a black ushanka cap.

Gamble stayed comfortable in a black Nike hoodie and a matching pair of sweat pants as he left the club.

Jay-Z's outing took place just one day before Clive Davis confirmed that the rapper, as well as his wife Beyonce, would attend his annual Pre-GRAMMY Gala.

The music industry mainstay made the news known to the public through an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he stated: 'I'll confirm those rumors, yes. [It's a] big deal.' 

Davis went on to state that he was greatly enthusiastic about being able to host the power couple at his gala.

'I've known them for many years, and their presence deserves that kind of excitement,' he said.

The entertainment industry figure concluded by giving the media outlet a bit of insight into what he expected from this year's gala. 

'I envision for the party this year what I've always envisioned -- performances that you've never seen before. Pairing of artists that you've never seen perform together,' he stated.
