Emirates Cup Semifinals today

Vegas is town known for heartache. It is built on people dreaming big and losing big. The city simply could not survive if the winners outnumbered the losers.

Today, the Emirates Cup Semifinals take place.

At 3:30 p.m., the Milwaukee Bucks face the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks, on a current hot streak, upset the Knicks on their own court to earn their way to Vegas. They hope to keep that energy pumping against two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.

The Western Conference game featuring the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder look to expand on the run they took in the playoffs last season, showcasing their talent at the highest level.

The winners will stay on and play for the second Emirates Cup title on Tuesday.
