Rookie Miller Can Arrest Orlando Romp

Orlando, 23-9 at home, should have little difficulty seeing off Charlotte, 8-27 on the road, at the Kia Center.

The Magic hold a 2-0 record over the Hornets this season including a 101-89 win during their current 8-2 stretch. The handicap is set at 13.5 but that might be asking too much of the Magic, especially if Brandon Miller has one of his going days.

Green Has Got Rockets Soaring

Jalen Green has lit the fuse in time for the Rockets to launch towards the play-offs and can revel in some shooting practice at the dismal Wizards.

Houston made it five straight by beating Cleveland 117-103 on Sunday, the third straight without injured top scorer Alperen Sengun.

In Sengun’s absence Green piled in 26 points with 11 rebounds and four assists, to follow the 37 he drained in last Wednesday’s 135-119 success over Washington.

Green made five three-pointers against the Wizards, four more against the Cavs, and since the All-Star Break is averaging 3.1 made from downtown from 8.4 attempts. He surely clears 2.5 threes in the capital.

Nets Can Keep Pelicans In Range

A players’ meeting got a response from the Nets who can push New Orleans close at the Barclays Center.
