Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool: They’re into eight minutes of added time at the City Ground, where the deadlock remains unbroken. This could be a hugely significant result in the title race if Liverpool fail to win … or even lose.

Championship: Birmingham City’s Juninho Bacuna has scored the sixth goal of the game between his side and Southampton, who are all square at St Andrews. Birmingham have been down to 10 men after the dismissal of Dion Sanderson in the 62nd minute.

Premier League: Cristian Romero heads home a speculative James Maddison cross into the Palace penalty area to put Tottenham in front.

Championship: Ike Ugbo gives Sheffield Weddnesday a priceless lead against Rotherham in their bottom of the table clash. In bad news for both Yorkshire teams, their fellow strugglers Stoke have just gone 2-0 up against Middlesbrough.

At the Liberty Stadium, Sammie Smodzics has pulled a goal back for Blackburn against Swansea, who lead 2-1.

Premier League: Yoane Wissa gives Brentford the lead with a wonderful overhead kick. His connection with Frank Onyeka’s cross could scarcely have been sweeter.

Scottish Premiership: It’s all square between Rangers and Motherwell at Ibrox, where James Tavernier has equalised for the home side from the penalty spot.

Championship: Che Adams puts Southampton ahead against Birmingham City in a ding-dong match at St Andrews. At Home Park, Conor Chaplin has put I|pswich ahead against Plymouth Argyle.

Premier League: Kurt Zouma steers a good header home after leaping to connect with a James Ward-Prowse cross.

Championship: There are two goals in short order at the King Power Stadium. Sinclair Armstrong doubles QPR’s lead over Leicester, only for Ben Nelson to pull one back for the Championship leaders three minutes later.

At St Andrews, David Brooks scores for Southampton to make it 2-2 in their game against Birmingham City.

Premier League: Back from injury, Eberechi Eze whips a free-kick into the top corner and Crystal Palace are in front.

Premier League: Everton’s Portuguese striker makes up for his first-half penalty miss and puts his side in front after getting his shoulder on the end of a whipped James Garner cross.

Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Crystal Palace: Jean-Philippe Mateta dawdles over a shot and it’s blocked by Cristian Romero. Moments later, Son connects with a Dejan Kulusevski pull-back on the half-volley and hits the post.

Premier League: Chelsea fail to clear an Ivan Toney delivery into the box, there’s a mix-up between Axel Disasi and Djordje Petrovic and Mads Roerslav takes advantage to equalise for Brentford.

Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool: Conor Bradley sends a cross fizzing into the Forest box, Andy Robertson pulls the trigger and his on-target shot is blocked.

Meanwhile in the Potteries, struggling Stoke have gone ahead against Middlesbrough thanks to Bae Jun-ho’s second goal in two games.

Premier League: Having missed a glorious chance to open the scoring for Chelsea a few minutes ago, Nicolas Jackson makes amends. He rises to head home a terrific Malo Gusto cross and the visitors are in front.

Premier League: There was only ever likely to be one outcome to this game, given the glut of articles that have appeared across various publications in the past couple of days talking about what a great job Gary O’Neil is doing at Wolves.

Anthony Gordon smashes the ball into the roof of the net from close range to double Newcastle’s lead after Jose Sa could only parry Jacob Murphy’s cross into his path.

Premier League: Harry Wilson turns provider on this occasion, returning the favour to Rodrigo Muniz, who heads home his cross from close range to score his fifth goal in five games.

Championship: It’s all square in the match between Birmingham and Southampton, where Adam Armstrong equalised for the Saints.
