Harry Kane can overtake England legends in Champions League record books by continuing incredible campaign...
Harry Kane may not win the first trophy of his career this season but he has had yet another incredible campaign on a personal level.
England’s top goalscorer has starred for Bayern Munich in all competitions, setting new records almost on a weekly basis.
So far in the Bundesliga, Kane has scored an incredible 35 goals which sees him closing in on Robert Lewandowski’s long-standing record of 41 in a single campaign.
His tally is the most ever seen by a player in their debut season in the competition, breezing past Hamburg legend Uwe Seeler in the history books.
But his form hasn’t been exclusive to Germany, as he has also been proving himself to be one of the best strikers around on the European stage.
Kane has scored seven goals in ten appearances in the Champions League for Bayern with his most recent strike helping to knock out Arsenal.

As well as that, he is known for his ability to drop deep and turn provider and he boasts three assists in UEFA’s primary competition on top of his eight in the Bundesliga.
His 10 goal contributions in 10 games in Europe have him on the brink of setting yet another record to add to his growing collection.
If he is to score or assist in Bayern’s semi-final tie with Real Madrid this week, live on talkSPORT, he will become the English player with the most ever contributions in a single season.
It would move Kane above Premier League and England legends Steven Gerrard and David Beckham to set a new Champions League high.

Gerrard’s best return in the competition was 10 contributions in 2007/08 while Beckham also had 10 in the 1998/99 campaign.
So the former Tottenham superstar can leapfrog some iconic names and he will be hoping he does so due to a goal that will continue his best-ever scoring season.
Last time out for Bayern, Kane’s brace against Eintracht Frankfurt meant he has set a new high for goals in all competitions.
His previous best was in 2017/18 with Spurs as he scored 41 goals, however, he has now jumped ahead of that with 42 with multiple games still to play.
After missing out on the Bundesliga title, Kane will be desperate to help Thomas Tuchel’s side progress through to the final as he continues to pursue his first-ever trophy.
He is still missing that piece of silverware but he continues to prove he has no issue with achieving personal accolades and he is set to add another this week.
