Ryan Reynolds sends heartfelt message after 'unforgettable' trip to Wrexham alongside Channing Tatum

Wrexham welcomed some celebrity faces to the STōK Cae Ras on Saturday afternoon but couldn’t pick up all three points.
Wrexham were back at the STōK Cae Ras once again on Saturday, just days after beating Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Trophy.
Phil Parkinson was hoping for another home win but found Cambridge United to be stubborn opposition.
Elias Kachunga’s opener was a real stunner before James McClean impressed Wrexham fans with a headed equaliser.
Steven Fletcher appeared to have won it for Wrexham but Dan Nlundulu’s late penalty reduced a point for the visitors.
A 2-2 draw was a real disappointment for Wrexham fans but this is another reminder of the gruelling slog that is the League One season.
Ryan Reynolds sends Wrexham message
The result sees Wrexham slip to third in the League One table but Parkinson remains in the promotion race.
Saturday’s game also saw Ryan Reynolds arrive into town – and he wasn’t alone.

Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong and actor Channing Tatum were both alongside Reynolds as they watched from the stands.
Wrexham couldn’t quite land the three points in front of those famous faces and Rob McElhenney actually apologised for not delivering a Wrexham win.
Reynolds has now taken to social media himself, posting a heartfelt message on Instagram after is latest trip to Wrexham.
‘A few friends came out for Wrexham and we made the most of it,’ said Reynolds as he posted photos from this weekend.
‘Unforgettable 36 hours made possible by the warmth and beauty of the people in this town. There’s nothing like it,’ he added.
Reynolds posed for a photo with Tatum after the final whistle with the pair no doubt disappointed to have not seen a victory.
Wrexham looking to finish 2024 strongly
Saturday’s result was not what Wrexham had in mind.
That is no disrespect to Cambridge but Wrexham had only dropped two home points before Saturday’s draw.
Parkinson will look to quickly move on from this disappointment and get Wrexham firing for the final couple of weeks of the year.
Wrexham are back on the road next weekend with Bristol Rovers presenting the final away trip of 2024.
It’s then two home games to end the year with Blackpool and Wigan Athletic seeing out the year.
Wrexham suffered a setback on Saturday but will hope to end the year with three straight wins and go into 2025 on a real high.
