Kids need to be considered when it comes to Winter Solstice! We don’t want to confuse them when it comes to Yule and Christmas, with them having so many similarities. We purposely make very specific distinctions when it comes to our celebrations with our son. You might consider: ❤️having a very seperate Yule tree to decorate together ❤️giving just one thoughtful gift to help celebrate your connections with each other ❤️making decorations together for the Yule tree or to hang up in the house ❤️get them involved in cooking and planning the feast for Winter Solstice (gingerbread cookies) ❤️do some creative activities like make a sun to adorn your altar, draw pictures, sit around a Bon Fire together The Sabbat of Winter Soltice or Yule will soon be here in the southern hemisphere.
