Yorkshire Cricket Unveil Special International Women's Day Event ...

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a special event to celebrate International Women’s Day.
‘Changing The Game – Women in Sport and Business’ will be held on Monday 10th March in the Howard Suite at Headingley Stadiumfrom 9.30am-12.30pm.
The breakfast conference will see guests from the world of sport and business discuss a variety of topics covering their professional journeys and success stories.
Led by our host, Kenzie Benali, there will be two separate panels, with the first featuring women from the world of professional sport, including our own Yorkshire CCC women’s squad, and the second focusing on the world of business.
These raw and honest discussions on career paths and the impact individuals have had on their respective industries will be held in front of over 300 delegates, undoubtedly exposing some incredible success stories as well as highlighting how they have overcome adversity.

The event will also see Yorkshire CCC launch its new strategy for growing audiences for women’s cricket.
The upcoming season is a critical one for the women’s game in Yorkshire and the event will be a vehicle to drive and enhance sponsorship and support for women’s cricket across the county, including both the professional and recreational game.
Kayleigh Hallas, Partnerships Services Manager said: “This conference is a brilliant opportunity to hear from some of the most successful women, to listen to their stories, ask questions and be inspired on International Women’s Day!
“We also want to create a buzz around the upcoming season for Yorkshire Women. We are very excited about what our women’s team can achieve in the coming years in the new domestic structure and want to bring as many people and businesses as possible, with us on this special journey.”
This will be a ticketed event priced at £12.50 inc. VAT. This includes breakfast, the two panel discussions and the opportunity to network amongst some of Yorkshire’s most influential women as well as Yorkshire CCC sponsors, corporate partners, supporters, and community groups.
